Dr. Edward Finoro, Clinic Principal-Director of Clinical Services

Dr. Finoro has been serving the chiropractic and therapeutic needs of Guelph area residents since 2002. He is the clinic owner and director of clinic services at Active Therapeutic Solutions.

Dr. Finoro's continuing clinical edcuation and training includes certifications and specialized training in the following:

  • Rapid Access Clinic Advanced Practice Provider RAC Low Back Program Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC)
  • Certified Independent Chiropractic Evaluator, IME/DAC 
  • Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator, FCE/FAE, ARCON
  • Board Examiner, Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board, CCEB
  • Member, Ontario Chiropractic Association
  • Member, Canadian Chiropractic Association
  • Member, College of Chiropractors of Ontario

Dr. Finoro is BSc graduate of the University of Toronto, BSc and MSc gradute of the Univeristy Portsmouth UK, and DC graduate of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) a subsidiary college of the University of Portsmouth UK.  Master’s of Science degree in Health Sciences, specializing in rehabilitation. During his training in the United Kingdom he worked with a number of professional soccer and rugby players as part of their medical teams.

Dr. Finoro loves hockey, football and Formula 1 Motorsport.  He is a NCCP registered coach with Hockey Canada and loves to spend time with his family and volunteering his time coaching his two boys in their hockey and sports endeavors.

Carol-Lee Case, Clinic Administrator

Carol-Lee started her career in the business field.  After making the switch to the medical field she has not looked back.  She is welcomed to the clinic with a wealth of medical insurance experieince and work with the WSIB.  She enjoys the daily patient interaction and loves to make you smile.

Roney Varkey BScPT, Registered Physiotherapist

Roney has worked and consulted with Active Therapeutic Soluions since 2021 in a part-time capacity.  We are excited that he has become a permanent fixture with our team.

Roney attained his Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2001. He is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He believes in quality, compassionate care, treats his patients with utmost priority, and is passionate about their well being. He has taken numerous courses over the years and is proficient with the
Mulligan and McKenzie techniques. Roney has done training in vestibular and concussion therapy, TMJ, acupuncture and more. He takes time to listen to his patients and works along with them to put a smile on their faces! He is always intrigued by the intricacies and complexities of the greatest machine ever designed- the human body, and believes that a loving heart and caring hands are the best tools a practitioner should have in his tool box! Roney makes sure he takes them to work everyday!

 Susanne Lehmann BSc, Registered Massage Therapist

Susanne is a Registered Massage Therapist.  Susanne has been successully serving Guelph residents for 20 years.  Susanne holds a Honours BKin Degree from McMaster University.  Susanne uses her knowledge in serving a broad based clientele.  Leena Martins, Registered Massage Therapist                                                                    

Leena graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Several injuries in her youth, that were alleviated by receiving massage therapy herself, led her to learn first-hand the importance of client-centered therapy and care. Growing up with a brother with special needs, Leena has also noticed improvement in his behaviours through massage therapy treatments. As a RMT, Leena is focused on providing that same level of attention to help make others’ recovery that much easier and to ensure that each patient feels their input is heard, integrated and valued in their treatment. Leena would like to ease the use of pharmaceutical and chemical consumption by providing relief through her massage therapy skills, with a keen interest in deep tissue, joint mobilizations and relaxation massages.
